The Hiboy EX6 is built around getting on and off easily. A step-through frame with an 18.11-inch standover means no swinging a leg over a high top tube, and at 66 lbs it is light enough to wheel up a kerb or lift onto a rack — roughly a third lighter than most full-size fat-tire e-bikes.

Power comes from a 500W brushless rear hub motor peaking at 960W, enough for a 20% grade. It reaches 20 MPH on throttle and up to 25 MPH on pedal assist, with three ways to ride: pure electric, pedal assist, or as an ordinary bicycle.

A removable, waterproof 48V 14.5Ah battery stores 696Wh and returns 75 miles on pedal assist or 41 miles on throttle alone, measured with a 165 lb rider. It recharges in 7 to 8 hours and lifts out for charging indoors. Both the battery and motor carry UL 2849 and UL 2272 certification.

Underneath are 20 × 4-inch pneumatic fat tires and front suspension, with disc brakes front and rear. A Shimano 7-speed transmission covers the pedalling range, and a backlit LCD shows speed, battery level, distance, mode and assist level at a glance.
